A one week summer day camp harp experience for harpists ages 9 to 18.

Take your harp playing to the next level and have fun doing it with other students just like you.

July 29 - August 2, 2024

Are You Ready for Harp Camp?

You are, if...

  • You are between the ages of 9 and 18 years old and you play lever or pedal harp.
  • You want to have fun while becoming a better harpist.
  • You want to experience the fun of harp camp but aren't sure you're ready for a full-on overnight harp camp experience.
  • You want to make harp friends forever.

...we play the harp.

Of course! But just from 9 AM to 3PM each day. What makes Harp Quest Summer Live Day Camp special is that it's just during the day. This is a great option for those who live in commuting distance of our location who don't want the commitment of a faraway overnight camp. If you live out of the area, but still would like to attend, please read more in the FAQs below.

...we create.

Playing the harp isn't just about learning notes and technique. We take advantage of our time at camp to explore, to experiment, to create music together. Our theme for this year is "Know the Score". Campers will collaborate to compose and perform their own musical score for an original story.

...we have fun!

Spending time learning and making music with harp friends is the best! Daily warm-ups, playing classes, individual and ensemble coachings so you can learn a piece with a new harp buddy (or two or three!) and music theory review that will actually help the theory stick. And we have some surprises in store for you, too!

Trinity Lutheran Church

Fairview Village, PA

In suburban Philadelphia, 26 miles northwest of the city, near King Of Prussia, PA

It isn't JUST fun and games.

Each day we will have…

  • Warm-ups to get your body moving, your mind focused and your fingers flying.
  • A playing class to help you polish your music and your playing skills.
  • Duo or ensemble coachings so you can learn a piece with a new harp buddy (or two or three!).
  • Theory review at the harp, because when you play those Theory concepts instead of just learn them from a book, they stick!

And on Friday afternoon, we will have a special in-house recital for your family and friends to show what you've accomplished.

Anne Sullivan

Director and Instructor

"Teaching is one of the most important aspects of my harp life. I have been privileged to guide and encourage many young harpists on their paths. And to see them enjoy making music and having fun with other students that share their interest is extremely rewarding."

Candace Lark Masucci

Co-Instructor

"I'm a happily married harpist living in Montgomery County Pa. with our dog Benjamin. I love working with my former harp teacher, Anne Sullivan, especially at harp camp. I look forward to getting to know you."
