Spice Up Your Scales 4: Your Key to Success

Playing Opportunities for Your Harpist

Does your harpist need places to play? Usually there is a high demand for harpists in local and school orchestras and ensembles, but perhaps your harpist would like to try some solo gigging this summer? Local senior communities and libraries often have programs and are looking for performers. Talk to your student’s teacher and get some insider recommendations too.

For Teachers

Plan a Field Trip

Your students love to feel like a group. You can encourage the camaraderie and motivation that having a community of harp friends provides by holding group studio classes or by taking field trips together. You and your students could attend a masterclass, a seminar or conference, or even plan a trip to a harp store. We all know there’s nothing more fun than trying new harps and looking through new music!
